Spotlight on Domaine Serre Besson
It all began with a favourite wine in 2017.
That year, I discovered Domaine Serre Besson’s Cru Vinsobres. I have been immediately captivated by its balance, depth and spices, as well as the distinctive freshness brought by the higher-altitude terroirs of Vinsobres.
Since then, that first favourite has developed into a lasting relationship, and the discovery has continued far beyond that initial bottle.
I am delighted to present several different expressions of Domaine Serre Besson: the deep and elegant Cru Vinsobres; Ragots, a distinctive expression of Syrah; Pauvre Diable, a cuvée with a name as intriguing as its personality; and the Rosé de Macération, a colourful, structured and decidedly different gastronomic rosé.
Four cuvées and four personalities, connected by the same guiding principle: lively, sincere wines with a profound sense of place.
Cru Vinsobres will always remain my original favourite. More importantly, it opened the door to an entire estate that I am always delighted to share with you.
